So yeah, we're now only 6 weeks away from WorldPride! It should be the largest international meeting in our history. We have a couple of cool posters - one to advertise the overall asexy meetup (the "Asexual World Festival") and one on our conference, which will be on Sat 28 June. Btw PiF and Ciri: London meet sometime? I'm next in London for the weekend after next (26-27 July). Also looking further ahead it'd be good to go to the firework display on the Thames again; I really enjoyed that last year.

Fireworks off the Internet sounds cool. Perhaps at the next meet we could do something like... Dunno... Bowling.... Laser tag etc

I can make what ever date works for the majority...prob best to have an idea of where you want to meet then do a search for bowling alleys or lazer tag places.

Let's have a London meet on the 26th. I know that there are a couple of people who want to do a meet on that day already.

In terms of things to do... I propose going to the Walthamstow Garden Party, which is basically a free afternoon of "music, theatre, arts & crafts, food and family activity in Walthamstows beautiful Lloyd Park". I'm particularly interested to see the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain's set at 5pm. In case you are not familiar with their work, here is a typical example:

So my suggestion is this: we meet somewhere in central London shortly before lunchtime, and travel up to Walthamstow together; it's in Zone 3 and about 15 minutes by a direct train from Liverpool Street or half an hour on the Victoria line. There we can sample the various food offerings and generally do whatever for the rest of the afternoon.

Other ideas are of course welcome!

Thoughts? Preferred activities out of those mentioned (or others)? It'd be good to get a definite plan nailed down.

I did try explaining I had done my time as a parent and as she had now made a deliberate choice to have them it was her choice and not my life sentence

apparently her making choices and then me having to face the consequences of them is all "my fault for bringing her into this world"

It may take some time but I am looking forward to her children, my grand children ....pulling the same one on her...that wry smile is on the parking block
